.... I'm alive

Fri Jun 13, 2008, 5:13 PM
So......... I haven't been on DeviantArt since February............. and I haven't posted any new art in a year now..... which is really really really depressing. And hopefully won't last too much longer.......

It's definitely been an up and down year for me. Lots of adjusting, lots of things to deal with. Lots of good times... a few shitty times.

I finally feel like this is my home though, so that's something. California definitely suits me.

Anyways.... the project here is wrapping up so I'm on the job hunt again. Once I get settled in a new job, I think things will finally have calmed down a bit.... I'm still working through some things, but I think I'm almost through it all.

So HOPEFULLY this summer will finally pull some art out of me. I just haven't really felt like drawing for a while..... sad, but true. But I think it's on it's way back. But warning, I'm going to be quite rusty at first....

I hope you have all been great.

PS. Thanks to everyone who has faved my work or friended me or commented in the past few months. I'm sorry I can't respond to you all individually right now... but thank you!

Good to hear you're still alive. :) I would assume the animation industry is a tough one (reading a book on how to get into the industry). I'm sure working there will make you stronger.

Hope things continue to go well for you as you move forward. ;)

Same thing happened to Rufftoon. Once she got into Nickelodian she's been too busy to post. It's that hectic schedule which, after drawing all day for pay, you're drained of wanting to do something fun.
We all understand though, and are happy you're doing what you wanted all of this time.
I have a similar problem, doing my tutorial on mold making in scraps, I don't want to move on to anything new until the last 2 of my figurines are done!

Wow, it looks like this has been a year of change and transition for you. very hard things in life for any one. I'm really happy to hear that you are keeping your head up and moving forward! You have always been a strong individual, and I'm sure great things are coming your way!

call me anytime if you want to talk or just catch up. :)

others live as if everyday is a miracle.
Great to hear that new art is on the way. I hope to see more pieces like your 'relaxing' piece.
